NEW DELHI: Odisha students from a baking schools have created the first chocolate sculpture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Using 70kg of chocolate, the sculpture was crafted over seven days by 15 students.
Speaking about the artwork, co-founder of Club Chocolate, Rakesh Sahu said, "We created this sculpture as part of our diploma curriculum. We wanted to do something new this time, something dedicated to a legendary politician."
"With our beloved Prime Minister’s birthday coming up next month, we thought, why not make a sculpture of PM Narendra Modi?" he added.
"It took a lot of effort; 15 of us worked together, putting in 14–15 hours daily. The biggest challenge was sculpting his glasses, as we’ve never seen him without them. At first, we doubted if we could pull it off, but under the guidance of Chef Rakesh and our team leader Chef Ranjan, we achieved it," said student Sunayana Mahapatra.
The artwork highlights major initiatives such as Ujjwala Yojana, Operation Sindoor, and Jan Dhan Yojana.
