The US Open is giving fans more than tennis in New York this year. Along with rallies and aces, there’s love, drama, and even a possible movie-style triangle. From Billie Jean King National Tennis Center to Nantucket beaches, romances are sparking, fueling cheers louder than the crowd. Grab a Honey Deuce, because here’s who’s making headlines.

Carlos Alcaraz, Emma Raducanu, and Jack Draper

Emma Raducanu, 2021 US Open champ, paired with men’s No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz in mixed doubles on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, against Jessica Pegula and Jack Draper at Flushing Meadows. Nick Kyrgios stirred rumors on talkSport Daily, calling it “a love triangle.” Alcaraz posted, “That was fun,” hugging Raducanu after their loss. Draper, once linked to Emma, says they’re “just friends.”

Paige Lorenze and Tommy Paul

On July 2025, men’s world No. 14 Tommy Paul, 28, proposed to influencer Paige Lorenze, 27, on a Nantucket beach. She posted “Forever” with a montage, showing a sparkling emerald-cut ring. Fans whispered of tension with Morgan Riddle, Taylor Fritz’s girlfriend, after the women unfollowed each other. Paul later seemed to unfollow Riddle too, fueling the WAG rivalry chatter.

Ben Shelton and Trinity Rodman

This spring, rising tennis star Ben Shelton, 22, and soccer forward Trinity Rodman, 23, went public with a cheek-kiss mirror selfie. Frances Tiafoe joked on Overtime Tennis TikTok, “I was like, the one who [connected them].” Rodman, who plays for Washington Spirit, now mixes soccer and tennis fandom, showing up courtside to cheer Shelton despite her own packed season.

Morgan Riddle and Taylor Fritz

Minnesota native Morgan Riddle, 28, met American star Taylor Fritz, ranked No. 4, on Raya in 2020. “I didn’t really want to jump into anything, but he was pretty persistent,” she told The Post. She’s followed him through Wimbledon 2025 and his 10 ATP titles. From style videos to courtside cheers, Riddle is tennis’ unofficial tour queen.

Frances Tiafoe and Ayan Broomfield

Frances Tiafoe and Ayan Broomfield started dating as teens, introduced by a mutual friend. Now, a decade later, the Maryland-born player has 39 Grand Slam wins. Broomfield, once a UCLA player and Venus double in “King Richard,” often joins him on tour. She posted, “Man to think how far we’ve come… You’ve rocked with me thru it all.”

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa

Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas and Spain’s Paula Badosa, nicknamed “Tsitsidosa,” went public in 2023. Their romance has been on-off, with breakups in May and July 2025. Both blamed busy travel and schedules. Still, fans wonder if they’ll cross paths in New York. As tennis expert Maria-Isabelle Parada said, “They take their jobs so seriously. It’s hard.”
