Important information and post-result process
The Tamil Nadu SSLC examinations covered core subjects such as Tamil, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and optional languages. Meanwhile, the HSE Plus One exams tested students across various streams including Science, Commerce, and Arts. Practical exams were held ahead of theory exams in February 2025 for Class 10 and in March for Class 11.

Students are advised to review their provisional marksheets carefully. In case of any discrepancies—such as errors in personal details or marks—they should immediately contact their schools or the Directorate of Government Examinations for correction. The DGE also offers facilities for revaluation and photocopy applications through its official portal, with a nominal fee applicable per subject.

With the results declaration scheduled for May 16, 2025, students should rely only on the official websites and avoid third-party sites to ensure accurate and timely access to their scores. This year, over 9 lakh students registered for the SSLC exams, while approximately 8 lakh appeared for the HSE Plus One exams, making it one of the largest cohorts in recent years.
