EastEnders fans predict Zack Hudson is still alive after spotting huge clue

Wednesday's episode delivered the gripping consequences of the horror car crash, with Zack Hudson and Teddy Mitchell's vehicle plunging into a lake. While Teddy emerged unscathed, Zack's fate was left uncertain.

However, viewers are convinced he's survived the ordeal.

In a shocking twist earlier this week, Harry kidnapped Zack, stashing him in his car boot to thwart his plans to flee Walford with his biological son Barney.Teddy, alarmed by Harry's drastic measures, joined Honey, Billy, and Nigel in pursuit of Harry's car.

After rescuing an unconscious Zack from the boot, Teddy's relief was short-lived as Zack woke up and seized the steering wheel in panic, sending them careening into the water, reports

The latest instalment opened with a frantic Teddy scrambling out of the lake, while Zack remained missing. In a surprising move, Honey proposed they feign Teddy's car theft, but their troubles seem far from over.

As the episode drew to a close, Vicki Fowler burst into Teddy and Nicola's home, accusing them of having Zack killed, much to Barney's shock.

Despite the dire situation, fans are not ready to write off Zack just yet. One Reddit user speculated: "He isn't dead, either he disappears for a while or he will be the duf-duff Thursday night when he rocks up to either Sharon's or Ravis looking for help.

"It will most probably Ravi's where Barney will be staying to get away from his family. Zack can't die. I refuse to believe it. There has to be a Father-Son reunion."

A second noted: "Zack's not dead till we see a body. He'll turn up tomorrow," while a third sceptical fan expressed: "I don't believe he's dead until we see a body."

Another enthusiast concurred: "It's a small pond. If the search team don't find a body within a day then its clear Zack managed to get away and isn't dead."

With his body still missing, viewers are convinced this is a massive clue that Zack will make a comeback. The absence of a body has also led many to question the rationale behind introducing such an elaborate plot for Barney and Zack, only to kill him off before the storyline unfolds.
