Why is THAAD more dangerous? 1. Protective shield up to space

THAAD can destroy any missile before it falls to the ground, at an altitude of 150 kilometres, which is almost 4 times higher than the S-400.

2. Hit-to-kill technology

There is no explosion in this, rather the missile shatters the enemy missile in the air by a direct hit. This technique is considered to be extremely accurate.

3. Made only for ballistic missiles

While the S-400 handles a variety of targets, THAAD is designed to destroy only ballistic missiles. That is, more specialized and precise.

4. Radar system that can see up to 1000 km away

The AN/TPY-2 X-band radar installed in it is so fast that it can track the missile within a few seconds of its launch, that too from a distance of thousands of kilometers.
