Meerut's Bizarre Love Triangle: Husband Wants His Wife to Marry Her Lover, Says “We'll All Live Together”

A shocking and unusual love triangle from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, has left everyone stunned. In a story that sounds stranger than fiction, a man has taken a surprising decision after discovering that his wife is in love with another man.

The husband, married for 15 years and a father of three, not only accepted his wife’s extramarital affair but also decided to get her married to her lover. Even more bizarre — he wants to live with both of them under the same roof.

Husband Files Police Application to Marry Wife to Her Lover

According to reports, the man filed a written application at the Sarurpur police station, requesting permission to marry his wife to her Muslim boyfriend.

He stated that he was fully supportive of the relationship and had no objection to the marriage. In his application, he also promised not to disturb or harass his wife and her lover in the future and even asked the police to take strict action against anyone who tried to harm them.

The police, baffled by the unusual request, called the man for questioning and launched an inquiry into the entire incident.

Married for 15 Years, Father of Three

The husband, who works as a mason and house builder, revealed that his marriage took place 15 years ago in an arranged setup. His wife hails from Prayagraj, and there is a 10-year age gap between them.

The couple has three children — a 13-year-old daughter, an 11-year-old son, and a 5-year-old daughter. The family resides in Sarurpur, Meerut, in a house owned by the wife, which was gifted by her parents.

Wife Fell in Love With a Laborer

The man said that around a year ago, when the house was being renovated, a Muslim laborer from the same village came to work there. During this time, his wife developed a close bond with him.

Their friendship soon blossomed into a romantic relationship, and the two started meeting frequently. The husband claimed that he learned about the affair about six months ago, and when he confronted his wife, she openly admitted her love for the man.

“She Loves Him Deeply — So I Want to Get Them Married”

Initially, the husband tried to convince his wife to give up the affair, but when she refused, he decided to sacrifice his marriage for her happiness.
He told the police,

“She said she loves him and cannot live without him. So, I have decided to get her married to him myself.”

The man also expressed that he wanted to continue living with them even after the marriage, adding,

“I will stay in the same house, but I will not remarry. I will live in the memories of my wife. I want to see her happy, even if it means sharing her.”

Clerics Refuse to Perform the Nikah

Despite his determination, the husband said that no Maulvi (cleric) has agreed to conduct the Nikah (Islamic marriage) between his wife and her lover.

He explained,

“I have spoken to several clerics from Sarurpur to Meerut, but everyone has refused to solemnize the marriage. Now, I am planning to go to Delhi and speak to clerics there to arrange the wedding.”

The incident has left locals and police officers equally puzzled, as the husband’s decision to voluntarily arrange his wife’s marriage to her lover and continue living with them defies social norms and legal conventions.
