Adam Frost, the gardening expert, confessed to being moved to tears when he watched his debut episode of Gardeners' World. He made this revelation during a chat at In Conversation Live at Kew Gardens over the weekend.
The official Instagram account of the show shared a video clip of Adam engaging with the audience. The caption read: "@adamfrostdesign talking about his first time seeing himself on TV @gardenersworldtv. The Second session begins at 5 p.m. today!"
When quizzed if he had ever seen himself on television, Adam confessed, "I watched it once. I watched the first one I ever did."

He recalled how his family insisted on watching the episode together, saying, "And the family said, 'Come on, we have got to sit down and watch it, and actually, we sat and watched it, and my youngest [son], who obviously, he's 16 and it was probably about 10 years ago, so he was about 10."
He continued, "And he sat next to me, and just towards the end of it, as the credits were going up, I had a text message, and so, I am crying at this text message," reports the Express.
Adam went on to reveal that the emotional text message was from Linda Hamilton, Jeff's wife.
As the audience cooed in sympathy, the TV star added, "Alright, so I am crying. Oaks put his hands on my knee and said, 'Dad, don't worry; it wasn't that bad.'"
The crowd erupted into laughter as Adam remarked, "It was absolutely brilliant."
Geoff Hamilton was a significant figure on Gardeners' World and the programme's longest-serving presenter. However, in 1995, the much-loved host suffered a heart attack and took three months to recover.

In 1996, Geoff tragically died after suffering another heart attack during a charity bike ride.
The video was also posted on Adam's Instagram account, where his followers showered him with supportive messages.
One fan penned, "It was a simply superb way to spend a couple of hours in all of your company. Nicky you were such a good host, Francis so interesting and Adam, we adore you, your down to earth character and stories. What a treat."
Another complimented, "Adam it was an absolute joy to be in the audience today watching you, Frances and Nicky. You're so full of stories and fun, Frances was so lovely and it was great hearing a bit more about her - you really made my day, thank you x."
A third chimed in, "What an amazing, fun and informative afternoon. Had the pleasure of walking back to the underground station with @adamfrostdesign - what a top bloke!".
Yet another added, "What a treat! Gorgeous garden, brilliant host @nickichappers and such great conversation and banter from @adamfrostdesign and @francestophill ... thank you @visitrichmond for the tickets!".
