Shefali Jariwala, aka the ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl’s death shocked the nation. Months later, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, admitted that he’s yet to move on from his loss. In his podcast, the ‘ Brahmarakshas’ star revealed that he has kept her unwashed T-shirts and shorts. “I have kept them. After she left, there was a huge basket full of her unwashed clothes. I keep them close, and I will never wash them.”

He also added, “I sleep clinging to those clothes. It’s like she is with me again. I can’t wear them as they are too small for me, so I grab them and go to sleep. ”

He revealed that he uses her pillow and sleeps on her blanket.

Parag reflected on the tragic day of Shefali’s passing, describing how he sensed something unusual before it happened. She had asked him to take their dog Simba out for a walk, as the housekeeper’s son was feeling exhausted. When he returned, he discovered Shefali lying unconscious and gasping for breath. In a desperate attempt to revive her, he tried giving her electrolyte water and even performed CPR, but she had already succumbed. Although she took a couple of breaths, her body had completely given up, and he was unable to bring her back.

He also confronted the speculation surrounding the circumstances of her death, particularly the claims that it was connected to the use of anti-aging drugs. Parag firmly denied such assumptions, clarifying that Shefali never misused substances. According to him, she only consumed standard multivitamins and, on occasion, opted for vitamin infusions through IV drips, which had no harmful effects.

Jariwala passed away on 27 June 2025 at the age of 42, after suffering a suspected cardiac arrest at her home in Oshiwara, Mumbai.

Jariwala and Tyagi tied the knot in 2014, after dating for four years.
