West Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025: West Central Railway (WCR) has issued a notification for recruitment to thousands of apprentice posts. A total of 2,865 posts will be filled through this recruitment to be conducted under the Training Act 1961. This recruitment will be done in Jabalpur, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and Kota, Rajasthan divisions. The application process will start from 30 August 2025, and candidates will be able to apply through the official website wcr.indianrailways.gov.in.

The online application process will start from 30 August 2025 and will run till 29 September 2025 (till 12 midnight). Selected candidates will be provided training in various divisions and workshops of the Railways. Interested candidates will be able to apply only by visiting the official website.

Qualification and Age Limit
For Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025, candidates of all trades must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized board. Also, the candidate must have a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT. The age of the candidates should be between 15 and 24 years, while SC, ST, OBC, and Divyang category candidates will be given relaxation in the age limit as per rules.
Selection will be based on the merit list.
No written test or interview will be conducted in this recruitment. Selection will be done entirely based on the merit list, which will be prepared on the basis of the average of marks obtained by the candidates in the 10th and ITI.

The application fee for this recruitment has been fixed category-wise. General, Other Backward Classes (OBC) and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 141. Whereas for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Women and Persons with Disabilities (PwBD) candidates, the application fee has been kept at only Rs 41.
